Transnational dialogue and collaboration are as important today as ever. My visit to 성균관대학교(Sungkyunkwan University) Law School last October laid the foundation for a new series of virtual lectures with Penn State Dickinson Law, with each law school alternating as host.

I enjoyed speaking with faculty and students at what, as I learned, is East Asia’s oldest university about the latest global AI and IP developments, including South Korea’s recent AI legislation. I look forward to hosting Sungkyunkwan Law Professor Patricia A. Goedde for her lecture to our community on “Institutional Pathways for Public Interest Lawyering in South Korea” on April 2.
