September 17 | IP and Tech Corporate Counsel Conference
UIC Law’s Center for Intellectual Property (IP), Information & Privacy Law is proud to host an online conference dedicated to issues central to the work of corporate counsel on Friday, September 17, 2021.
This one-day CLE program offers attendees the opportunity to hear from industry, outside counsel, and allied service providers.
3M’s Chief IP counsel Yen Florczak will join Center Advisory Board Member Esther Lim (Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner) for a fireside chat during the featured session titled “Innovation that Sticks: Engineering Intellectual Property, Internationality & Inclusiveness.”
Four panels throughout the day will cover the following themes:
- “Thinking Globally, Acting Locally,”
- “Best Practices & Pitfalls,” “
- Tips for Patent Prosecution, Licensing & Litigation,”
- “Brand v. Budget,” and
- “Diversity in the Profession”
Ainslee Schreiber (WeWork), Adam Kelly (Loeb & Loeb LLP), Mark Campagna (Medtronic), Jomarie Fredericks (Rotary International), and Lisa A. Dunner (Dunner Law PLLC) will moderate each of these panels respectively.
We believe that the best part of conferences usually lies in discussion and interaction, both within the panel and between the panel and the audience. For this reason, each panel is a moderated discussion with no presentations. While moderators will be asking questions they think the audience might ask themselves, we welcome audience members to participate throughout using an intuitively designed Q&A feature. In addition, we are setting aside fifteen minutes or more between sessions so attendees can speak directly with our conference faculty and each other during virtual networking sessions.
