Pittsburg | #threerivers alum meetings

I recently joined my academic colleagues from the region for the Sixth Annual Three Rivers Intellectual Property (#IP) and #Technology Law Colloquium, hosted by University of Pittsburgh School of Law Professor Michael Madison. Professor Madison teaches a Technology, Law, and Leadership seminar and gave University of Houston Law Center Professor Aman Gebru and me a copy of #jimcollins#goodtogreat .
Meeting alums is a highlight of any work trip. I was delighted to meet Dusty Kirk, Noland Cheung, and their loved ones. Dusty is a trusted adviser to clients in all aspects of real estate development and serves as Partner at Reed Smith LLP. As Chair of the Dentons Cohen & Grigsby IP National Practice Group, Noland concentrates his practice on IP protection and enforcement. Also glad to meet Chip Dougherty, Associate Director for IP at Carnegie Mellon University’s Center for Technology Transfer and Enterprise Creation.
Looking forward to seeing them again during my next trip back in a few months for our Penn State Dickinson Law alum reception in Pittsburg!
