International IP Practice Seminar: Patents, Trademarks, Designs

Just wrapped up our international IP practice seminar on patents, trademarks, and designs. Together with our partners the World IP Organization and Kuhnen & Wacker, the seminar traces its roots back to over 20 years, offering a “one-stop shop” for practitioners, inhouse counsel, academics and paralegals to get current developments and best practices on international IP practice, including Europe and China.

We were delighted to welcome Judge Klaus Grabinski, one of the key architects of Europe’s Unified Patent Court and Unitary Patent System as well as leading trademark expert Gordon Humphreys, Chairperson of the Fifth Board of Appeal at the EUIPO. This year, we augmented our program with a broader slate of inhouse counsel and practitioners.

Together with Indiana University (Bloomington) Maurer School of Law’s Center for Intellectual Property Research, we are exploring how we can broaden the reach of this popular event to Indiana and other Midwestern states, including a possible seminar in Indianapolis next year. Stay tuned!
