Delighted to participate in the Penn State Institute for Computational and Data Sciences (ICDS) co-hire retreat, a semiannual, university-wide interdisciplinary gathering. ICDS’s mission is to marshall interdisciplinary, cyber-enabled research to help solve problems of scientific and societal importance.

We also marked a transition point in ICDS Director Jenni Evans‘ remarkable career. A luminary in the world of meteorology and atmospheric science, Jenni’s eight years at ICDS’s helm saw unprecedented growth, achievement, and community building. We welcomed her successor interim director Guido Cervone and associate director Christelle Wauthier.
