Introducing Advisory Board Chair Judge Paul Michel

I am delighted to announce that former Federal Circuit Chief Judge Paul Michel has accepted my invitation to serve as Chair of the Center’s advisory board.

Judge Michel’s ties with the Law School go back at least to his time as an adjunct in 1991. He was a frequent visitor to the Law School during his time on the Federal Circuit and has been a good friend of our IP program.

Following Don Dunner’s passing in October (details here: https://www.ipwatchdog.com/2019/10/18/remembering-donald-dunner/id=104610/), I have been on the lookout for an appropriate successor. We are honored that Judge Michel has agreed to serve with us.

I have every confidence that our partnership will be a fruitful and meaningful one. He will be the keynote speaker at our 64th Annual IP Conference on Friday, November 13.
