An “A+” in IP from preLaw Magazine
Pleased to see UIC John Marshall Law School’s Intellectual Property (IP) Law program recognized as one of the best in the nation for the fourth year in a row by preLaw magazine. It received an A+ grade.
The Center for IP, Information & Privacy Law has been a pioneer in IP legal education since 1940. Students enjoy degree specializations and can attend conferences and public lectures alongside practicing attorneys, judges, as well as legal counsel from corporations and nonprofits. These offer them front-row access to the most important issues of the day and to IP leaders.
We continue to find novel ways to remain relevant to the national and international IP community. With the steadfast support of the school and our partners, we strive not only to observe the IP world around us but also to be a constructive player in it. Recently, in response to the COVID-19 situation, we hosted our very first online conference on IP, privacy, and antitrust issues in digital platforms. Initially intended for a live U.S. audience, we were pleasantly surprised to welcome attendees from Europe, China, India, and other countries.
On June 5th, we will offer our 11th Annual IP Ethics Seminar online. Save the date and join us, especially if you’re on this year’s ethics CLE reporting cycle!
