IP law and engineering have many points of synergy. With John Marshall Law School now one of UIC’s 16 colleges, the time is ripe to explore how we can offer course, certificate, and degree tie-ups at the undergraduate, graduate, and executive education levels that maximize those points of synergy.

Delighted that Professor Danilo Erricolo is Director of Graduate Studies at UIC’s Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering reached out to me recently to see how we can bring the discussion forward. There will be many issues to consider and implementation may take some time. However, the warm and growing personal ties between both sides will help make this an enjoyable and meaningful journey.
