We were delighted to welcome members and guests of the Copyright Society of the USA (CSUSA) to UIC John Marshall Law School last week. In a public lecture co-hosted with CSCUSA, Jennifer M. Mikulina (McDermott, Will & Emery) and Ariana Voigt (Catalina Marketing Corp.) presented on “Potential Pitfalls in Copyright: Fair Use and Data Compilations.”

Advisory Board Member Bill McGrath and CSUSA’s Midwest Co-Chair Jim Griffith welcomed an audience comprising mainly of practitioners and students. Thanks to Natalie Elizaroff (’22), Audrey Meyer (’22), Julie Kim (’22), Marisa Schutz (’22), and Liat Sanz (’20) for assisting with the event.
