Congratulations to Esther, Idris, Tashia, Victoria Fisher, and their team for organizing another outstanding event.

Delighted also to join the IP community at Crowell & Moring at The Pauline Newman IP American Inn of Court gathering to celebrate Judge Pauline Newman’s service to the Court for over 40 years. I spoke about the jurisprudential importance of dissents presented in my 2017 law review article “I Dissent: The Federal Circuit’s ‘Great Dissenter,” Her Influence on the Patent Dialogue, and Why It Matters,” published in the Vanderbilt Journal of Entertainment & Technology Law.

I met Dickinson Law alum James Pontius (USPTO) at the event and look forward to reconnecting him with our community. Great to hear from Patrick J. Coyne (Coyne Consulting PLLC) Rachel Elsby (Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP), Bethany Mihalik (U.S. International Trade Commission), Patrick Holvey, Andreas Baltatzis, Terry Rea. Thank you to Judge Hung H. Bui for inviting me.
