Enjoyed catching up with Professor Katsuya Tamai over a quintessentially Chicagoan lunch of deep dish pizza! Professor Tamai serves as Professor of IP law at the Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology of the University of Tokyo. Professor Tamai was visiting Ocean Tomo on business, so I got to meet folks from Ocean Tomo’s Chicago office as well, and learned more about the services they provide in the areas of financial services related to IP including financial expert testimony, valuation, strategy consulting, patent analytics, investment advisory, innovation management consulting and transaction brokerage.
