At The University of Nevada, Las Vegas, the “Rebels” nickname reflects the tenacious attitude and relentless spirit of a university and a community that dares to be different. It dates to the university’s origin in the mid-1950s, inspired by the idea of the iconic nonconformist. UNLV’s William S. Boyd School of Law is the first and only law school in Nevada.
During the search process, UNLV Law’s new Dean, Leah Chan Grinvald, articulated a clear vision for the future of Boyd Law that’s innovative, community-focused, and aspirational. Appointed in 2022, she joined me for a wide-ranging fireside chat to share reflections on her professional journey and lessons on leadership.
